Returns, Refunds & Warranty

We want the process for returns and warranty claims to be clear. This Policy applies to products purchased from store.ironsights.com.au. Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts or modifies rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Version 1.0Effective 17 August 2026

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law where those guarantees apply.

Products must meet applicable consumer guarantees, including requirements relating to acceptable quality, fitness for disclosed purposes and correspondence with their description.

Depending on the circumstances and whether a failure is major or minor, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, compensation or another remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.

The rights in this Policy are additional to any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Change of mind

2.1

In addition to your statutory rights, IronSights offers eligible change-of-mind returns within 14 days after delivery.

2.2

To qualify for a change-of-mind return, the product must:

(a)

be unused;

(b)

be unopened where the product was supplied in sealed packaging;

(c)

remain in its original packaging;

(d)

include all accessories, documentation and supplied components;

(e)

be undamaged; and

(f)

be in a condition suitable for resale as new.

2.3

You must provide proof of purchase.

2.4

You are responsible for return shipping costs for an approved change-of-mind return unless we agree otherwise.

2.5

Original shipping charges are generally not refundable for a change-of-mind return.

2.6

We recommend using tracked shipping when returning products.

2.7

You remain responsible for the returned product until it is received by us, subject to Applicable Law.

Security keys and authentication devices

3.1

Security keys, hardware authentication devices and similar security products require additional care because possession and configuration of the device can form part of a person's security controls.

3.2

For change-of-mind returns, we generally cannot accept a security key or authentication device after:

(a)

sealed or tamper-evident packaging has been opened;

(b)

the device has been registered or enrolled;

(c)

credentials, certificates, passkeys or authentication information have been stored on the device;

(d)

the device has been configured; or

(e)

the device has otherwise been used.

3.3

Clause 3.2 applies only to our voluntary change-of-mind policy.

3.4

Opening, registering, configuring or using a security product does not remove any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law if the product is faulty, unsafe, materially misdescribed or otherwise fails to comply with an applicable consumer guarantee.

Products that cannot be returned for change of mind

Subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, we do not generally accept change-of-mind returns for:

(a)

opened security keys or authentication devices;

(b)

products that have been registered, activated or bound to an account;

(c)

products containing activated software or licence keys;

(d)

digital products or licences that have been issued or activated;

(e)

specially ordered or customised products where this was clearly disclosed before purchase;

(f)

products damaged after delivery;

(g)

products missing packaging, accessories or components; or

(h)

products that cannot reasonably be resold as new because of their use or condition.

Faulty products

5.1

If you believe a product is faulty, contact us and describe the issue.

5.2

We may ask you to provide information reasonably required to assess the issue, including:

(a)

your Order number or proof of purchase;

(b)

the product serial number;

(c)

photographs or video;

(d)

a description of the fault;

(e)

relevant error messages; or

(f)

reasonable troubleshooting information.

5.3

We may need to inspect or test the product.

5.4

Any assessment process will be conducted consistently with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Major failures

Where a product has a major failure under the Australian Consumer Law, you may have the right to reject the goods and choose the remedy available to you under the Australian Consumer Law, including a refund or replacement where applicable.

Nothing in this Policy restricts those rights.

Minor failures

Where a failure is not major and can be remedied, we may be entitled under the Australian Consumer Law to choose an appropriate remedy, such as repairing the product within a reasonable time.

If the issue cannot be remedied within a reasonable time, further rights may become available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.

Incorrect products

8.1

If we send you a product that is different from the product you ordered, contact us.

8.2

We will arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include replacement with the correct product and reasonable return arrangements for the incorrectly supplied product.

Products damaged in transit

9.1

If a product arrives damaged, contact us as soon as reasonably practicable.

9.2

Please retain the shipping packaging and product packaging while the issue is being assessed.

9.3

We may ask you to provide photographs to assist us with the carrier claim.

9.4

Your rights are not dependent on IronSights successfully recovering compensation from the carrier where IronSights is legally responsible for the damaged product.

Manufacturer warranties

10.1

Some products include a voluntary manufacturer's warranty.

10.2

Manufacturer warranties operate in addition to applicable Australian Consumer Law rights.

10.3

We may assist with manufacturer warranty claims where appropriate.

10.4

We will not require you to deal exclusively with the manufacturer where you have a remedy against IronSights under the Australian Consumer Law.

10.5

Expiry of a manufacturer's warranty does not necessarily mean that your Australian Consumer Law rights have expired.

Return authorisation

11.1

Please contact us before returning a product.

11.2

We may provide return instructions or a return reference.

11.3

This helps us identify and process your return efficiently.

11.4

Failure to obtain a return reference does not remove any statutory right you may have.

Return shipping

12.1

For an approved change-of-mind return, you are responsible for the cost of returning the product.

12.2

Where a product fails to comply with an applicable consumer guarantee, responsibility for reasonable return or collection costs will be determined in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

12.3

We may provide a prepaid shipping label or arrange collection where appropriate.

Refunds

13.1

Approved refunds will generally be made to the original payment method.

13.2

Once processed by us, the time taken for funds to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.

13.3

For approved change-of-mind returns, we may inspect the product before issuing the refund to confirm that the conditions in this Policy have been satisfied.

13.4

We will not deduct restocking or handling charges from a refund that you are legally entitled to receive under the Australian Consumer Law.

Exchanges

14.1

Where we approve a voluntary change-of-mind return, you may request an exchange instead of a refund.

14.2

Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

14.3

Any price difference between products must be paid or refunded as applicable.

14.4

Shipping charges may apply to voluntary exchanges.

Proof of purchase

We may request reasonable proof that the product was purchased from IronSights.

Proof may include:

(a)

an IronSights order confirmation;

(b)

tax invoice;

(c)

receipt;

(d)

payment record; or

(e)

other reasonable evidence of purchase.

Products containing personal or authentication information

16.1

Before returning a device, you should remove any personal information where reasonably possible.

16.2

For security products, you should remove credentials, passkeys, certificates and account associations where possible and appropriate.

16.3

Do not provide us with PINs, passwords, recovery codes or other authentication secrets unless specifically required through an approved secure support process.

16.4

If you cannot securely erase a faulty authentication product, tell us before returning it so that appropriate handling arrangements can be considered.
